Period Panteez Menstrual Underwear | Full Review

Is it Your Goldilocks Panty?

A certified massage therapist created Period Panteez. Her practice of more than 10 years taught her a lot about women’s physiology and anatomy, and she used that knowledge when she developed these menstrual undies.

Period Panteez do double duty as both period undies and shapewear. Their squeezing effect is also meant to help with bloating and cramps – the brand describes them as providing “just the hug you need.” You need to wear Period Panteez with a pad during your period, but you can also wear them on their own to protect against spotting.

The company designs and makes their garments in the U.S.A. You can return unused Period Panteez with all original labels within 30 days.

How Period Panteez Period Underwear Works

Period Panteez fit snugly so that, if you wear a pad, it won’t slip out of place and let leaks get through. These are great to wear at night with an overnight pad.

Layers

This brand states that their period underwear is multi-layered and leak-resistant, but they don’t give a detailed breakdown of the number of layers or what’s in them. The layered part goes up pretty high in the front compared to many other brands. It also goes up high in the back, but not up to the waistband.

Absorbency

  • Light: Wear Period Panteez in place of a pantyliner or mini pad.

Care

Period Panteez are machine washable. The company doesn’t specify how to dry them, but that probably means you should hang them to dry.

Period Panteez Period Panties Customer Reviews

Most Period Panteez complaints had to do with leaks getting through the fabric. The company is very up-front with saying these are not free-bleed underwear. You must wear them with a pad or menstrual cup. Some customers loved the compression effect, others thought it made the panties feel too small.

“Very comforting to wear!” – Jennifer K. – Amazon Review

“I had high hopes for this one and I was finally able to take it on a test drive yesterday. Unfortunately it did not protect as promise. I found two small stains on my pants at the end of the day. It’s a good idea, but perhaps it needs more work.” – NYCPat65 – Amazon Review

Period Panteez Period Panties Final Say

The price for Period Panteez has dropped by $10 to $28 per pair, so if you’ve been thinking about trying these for a while, now is the time. The boyshorts design is extra comfy, and women say the compression effect really does help reducing cramping, however, some women don’t like the feeling of compression.

Period Panteez definitely need to be worn with a pad, cup or tampon during your period, although they can protect against light spotting on other days. All new customers get one free return, so you can try these out risk-free for 30 days. If you like the shiny fabric and bright colors, you should try these!
